Mary Jane Miller, is an icon painter, author, and one of the most compelling modern iconographers of the modern world. She is known for her contemporary sacred art collection and her contemporary theology, as seen in her iconography videos. She describes each of her icon paintings as a visual meditation, a process by which she finds answers to the eternal questions she constantly asks herself. As an icon painter and writer, she often finds her inspiration in the works of ancient Byzantine iconography painters from Russia, Greece, and Eastern Europe.
